Here's a couple sweaters I recently completed for Knit for Kids . I don't think I'll make anything that requires that much seaming at least for awhile. I made these using the magic ball method. It was fun watching the colors all come together, but there were a lot of loose ends to weave in. I prefer that to seaming though. LOL

The sweaters look wonderful. I love the texture of the blue sweater. I avoid seaming at all costs too!
Nice work! I also like the textures in the blue one. Love your socks too!
BEAUTIFUL colors & textures on the sweaters!
And neat socks.

It is possible to knit this sweater (Guidepost patterns, I assume) without ANY seaming. Start at the bottom on circular needles. When you get to the sleeves, switch to two circular needles. Cast on the stitches for the sleeves on one needle and knit in the pattern for about an inch on that one needle; then attach another yarn end to the stitches on the other needle, pick up the sleeve stitches from the cast on edge of the other needle. and knit the two sleeves on their own needles. Once you have knit the required length, end on opposite ends of the needles. You can now do the three-needle bind off on each end. Place a marker on each end for the necessary neck opening, and stop the three-needle bind off at that point and continue with a normal bind-off on each needle to complete the neck. Weave in the ends. No seaming required. I have made four sweaters this way.
