Here is the baby sweater I'm working on. It's a simple pattern, but I don't like the way the sleeves are done do I'm going to pick up the stitches from the underarm (as well as the sleeve stitches on holders) and knit them in the round. No seaming that way! Yeah!

That looks very sweet! What yarn are you using? It looks soft too.

Thank you, knittinreed! The yarn is Bernat Denim Style. It's very soft and easy to work with.

Hi Jan--love this little sweater and like the looks of that yarn!! Maybe I could start knitting a sweater if I started with something small. I've never done one, and I'm very intimidated by it! Love your blog!!

BEAUTUFUL job!!! that yard does look yummy!!!

Ellen, for my first sweater, I did the "five hour" baby sweater pattern. It is done top down, and very easy. It was one of my very first projects. I didn't worry about guage or anything, just followed the directions.

I htink that it looks lovely, and it's coming along. I'm also curious as to what yarn you're using..
